Torch
Written (3/22/98)
Edited (10/17/98)

I fear, I fear their loss
becuse thier loss is mine
why such a bright spot am I
I move by brilliant radiance
but is mine a dying light
I offer and plead
"light thy torch off mine"
The world can be bright again
yes it really can
You are all so tough
so tough you try to forget
neglecting your torch
watching it die out
facinated by last spark
becomming one with the fog
the wet seething darkness
that becomes of you
like the rest numb forgetfullness
creeping up my body
trying to douce my lick of flame
I don't want to die out
when you're the last one left standing
is there anything left to stand for
