Gorf
Description:
The smash arcade hit takes a pit stop on the 2600, and does it fairly
impressively. This is one of the few Atari games with several different
styles of play all combined into one cart, and it's very fun. There's
Astro Battles (think space invaders), Laser Attack (Galaga), Space Warp
(thing spiral out at you, and you have to shoot them), and then the final
assault on the flag ship- kind of like the end of Phoenix. Sure, it's a
rip off of a bunch of different styles, but they all go together, and they
make for a really fun game. Didn't Gorf have digitised speech in the
arcade? I love digitized speech.. but none here.
